Talk on the ELSI of Ultra-Early Dementia Prediction and Prevention at Science Agora 2026 (Kiya Y.)

On September 13, I spoke at a Science Agora 2026 session organized by JST's Moonshot Goal 2 program and Miraikan. I presented our research findings on the ELSI of ultra-early dementia prediction and prevention.

About 15 people took part. First, in small groups, they shared their hopes and concerns about life with ultra-early dementia prediction and prevention in 2050. I then presented our research findings on the ELSI of these technologies. It was a great chance to talk with people outside the research community.
